Dispatch archive

Starting in 2015, I started sending free TinyLetter dispatches, on an irregular basis, to anyone who was interested in what I was thinking about — what I'd been reading, listening to, watching, doing with my body, and so on. These dispatches were always a little one-way for my taste, but I found that I really liked the space they afforded me to work out ideas, free of the pressure of having to weave them into any larger narrative or consistent body of thought.

When TinyLetter shut down, I migrated the dispatches to Patreon, but neither they or I ever felt entirely comfortable there. I'm delighted, then, to have found a home for them here, where the archive and the option to subscribe sit alongside my other work.

Just a heads-up: you may find these tonally different than the rest of the work on this site, especially if you're not familiar with me. These aren't take merchants.
